June 2020 Books of the Month

My June 2020 Book of the Month was The Six Trilogy by Mark Alpert. In it, Adam, a dying teenager is comforted by only one thing: virtual reality. Then some weird hacker who goes by Sigma tries to kill him. He just barely manages to escape. Too bad he's still dying of muscular atrophy. BUT WAIT! His computer scientist father has a plan: transfer his mind to a fun new robot! (The procedure is fatal.) Adam and five other terminally ill kids do the procedure -- and save the world from Sigma, who is actually a rogue AI.
I liked these books because there is action! Some of the action takes place in Russia! There's a big plot twist in the third book! There's a small plot twist in the second book! ACTION, COMEDY, MORE ACTION, MYSTERY, ALL IN ONE! GET THE SIX TODAY!
These books really do have the works. Read them now.

Max-
My June 2020 Book of the Month was Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling. I am guessing a lot of you have read this, but also some people haven't, so here we go!
So, Harry lives with his mean aunt even meaner uncle as well as a spoiled, spoiled, spoiled, spoiled, cousin. This is because his parents died in a car crash when he was a baby. Clearly, he is not very happy about this. But then, some strange things start happening. Letters start flying out of the fireplace, for one. This causes the "family" to move out. But, as they go to another house in the pouring rain, a giant named Rubeus Hagrid appears. Hagrid takes away Harry, (and puts a pig tail on the spoiled cousin Dudley) saying that he is accepted into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He also says that his parents were actually killed by Lord Voldemort, but Harry lived. So THAT's where that lightning scar came from! But there's a mystery in Hogwarts.
I liked this book because it's mystery and humor and fantasy all in one. It also has something to think about in later books and plot twists and cool new stuff too. Basically, it's very all-out goodness and you should read now. Thank you, and good night.
